Announcement of DUSA New Board of Director
Dear Members and Friends of DUSA,
After more than 20 years in China, our valued Board Director, Andreas Björk, will be relocating to Europe for a new assignment. As a result, Andreas has stepped down from his position on the DUSA Board.
On behalf of the entire DUSA Board, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to Andreas for his remarkable four years of service. His significant contributions, especially in elevating our social events to true highlights on the DUSA calendar. Andreas will be greatly missed, not only for his professional expertise but also for his warm presence and positive influence.
In accordance with our Articles of Association, the DUSA board has appointed "a member to fill the casual vacancy on the Board as Board member until the next Annual General Meeting. The new member will "retire at the next Annual General Meeting and be eligible for election" for the next term during the AGM 2025.
We are delighted to welcome Martin Zachrisson to the DUSA Board, effective 1 November 2024, succeeding Andreas. Martin, a long-standing and active DUSA member, shares Andreas's affiliation with the Swedish Chamber of Commerce and brings a wealth of professional insight. His expertise will support the ongoing implementation of our 2023-2025 DUSA strategy. Martin will take over responsibility for our social events, including the Social Gatherings, Christmas Dinner, and Captain's Dinner. We are excited to work with him in the months and years ahead.
Warm regards,
The DUSA Chairman
Florian Weihard
